Wireless Connections

What is a Wireless Network Adaptor?  Well if you have a USB connection on your computer and you have computer that will allow you to setup a wireless network then you will be able to setup a wireless connection to two or more computers in your home or place of business.  What this will allow you to do is have a connection to other computers in your home our business.  Having a wireless connection will alleviate the use of all the wires that require you to run your network.

Using a wireless network will enable all of the computers on your network to access each their information as well as accessing the Internet.  Without a wireless network each computer would need their very own dedicated Internet connection but if the main computer in your network is connected to a wireless router and the other computers have a wireless network card, installation is just a few short steps away.  If the other computers in your home or workplace have the network adapter card then you can begin the installation of your wireless network connection.

First of all, you will need to make sure that your Ethernet cable is plugged into your wireless router and also into your desktop or laptop computer.  Once your cables are plugged in and you have your wireless router powered up you can then start your network wizard on your computer.  Make sure that all of the computers that you want in the network are on so that the wizard can recognize each other.  The next step is to run your network setup wizard in the control panel of your computer.  Once you run the wizard you will then follow the on screen directions.  Now if you experience any problems the network setup will give the opportunity to fix these problems.  Some problems that may occur are bridge connection errors, adapter problems and so on but usually the there is a troubleshooting guide that will be there for you if you have any questions or errors in your installation.

Setting up your network in this day and age is a lot easier then it has ever been.  Don't get frustrated, be sure to read all of the instructions carefully and follow them to a "T" and you will have a wireless network in no time.
